THE PALMER HOUSE HERD

Coin's Fantastic and A Big Red Beau

Breeding is a learning process and ‘luck of the draw’ plays a great role in the foal being what you expect it to be. It is a process we have been learning for a number of years, but have enjoyed raising many colts that have gone on to make happy owners of neat pleasure horses.   It takes time and work to bring a new horse into the Walking horse world!

OUR FOALS

Since we see that Beauregard Is Armed can produce color we are wondering what will be the outcome of the cross between Beau and Cash in the Future, "Cassie", who is a delightful roan of 3 colors.  Of course Beau is by Armed and Dangerous so he carries a recessive gene for red/chestnut.  These two colts are just what we hoped for.  Beauregardless, the black baby is the spitting image of his sire, with a short back, broad back-end, good long stride, gentle and fine.  Ram Beau, the red colt has a short back, long legs, perfect head and shoulder conformation, great movement.  We are very proud of both these babies.

BEAUREGARDLESS (deceased)

The next to be born, in December 2006, is a Walking Mule! Interesting!  The dam is by Bum's Warrior, out of a Carbon Copy mare.  It should be a great addition to our breeding experiment.
