We also showed our 2 year old filly,

home and the training barn so she was a bit nervous but carried on
and did quite well. She will make a great padded 2 year old.

Beauregard won Blue at the Houston Walking Racking horse show
last weekend in Lufkin, TX. We didn't get to go but Don Crum rode
him in the Park Performance class and won! We are so proud.
Don is taking
Stanley
to Jackson, Mississippi this weekend. We can't go to that one
either since we are diligently working on the new facility and
paddocks at Dogwood Farms. Hopefully we will make it to Big D and
show 2 or 3 horses.

Stormy’s Bad Company was in top form at the Marshall Texas
Lions Club Charity Show. He won both the Open Walking Horse
canter class and the Stake Walking Horse Championship with Don
Crum riding. His next show will be at the Texas Spring Classic
in Nacogdoches, Texas.
We are expecting another foal in April 2008, out of “Cash In the
Future”, and by Beauregard.
Beauregardless and Ram Beau, the yearling colts, will be going
into training with Don Crum this spring. We are anxious to see
how talented Beau’s first offspring will be. Both colts are very
strong and healthy and will be offered for sale while in
training.
Our walking mule colt is really growing and pretty. He was one
year old in December 2007 and will be cart and wagon trained as
well as ridden under saddle.
Our farm lost 2 dogs in 2007: Pape’, our standard poodle, and
Belle the Kurth’s
Labrador. Both dogs loved the farm and we were saddened by their
passing.
